850 starting problem 850 1995

I have read several posts about warm starting problems, but am not sure if mine is the same. Car starts fine cold and runs fine. Running errands, after a few stops, it cranked but would not start. I waited about 5 minutes and it started. The second time, a couple weeks later, it started but barely ran, at very low RPM and would not respond to accelerator. Tried several times but no luck. While waiting for the tow truck, after 15 minutes I tried again and it started right up.
