Whistle and Clunk 850 96

On take-off from dead stop, my 850 GLT makes a definitive "clunk" noise just ahead and below the driver's position at < 5 mph. Maybe the top motor mount, or the right drive axle? It is not the ABS doing a self check. Also, my car whistles at 55-60 mph and above. Again the sound is right in front of the driver and appears to come from the windshield. I have tried diagostic strips of tape applied to the edges of the windshield, all to no avail. A freind with a '98 also hase the same whistle problem. Otherwise the car is a good car, but still a "7" in my book. Anybody got a solution to whistles and clunks?
