Lowered suspension 850 1996

I have a 1996 850 T5 and I am thinking of fitting lowered springs and then fitting 17 inch wheels. The springs lower the car by approx 1 inch and the wheels would be the same dimensions as a T5R.

Has any one fitted lowered springs and can anyone see any problems with the above.
