Mounting a boost gauge.... S40-V40 2000

I was trying to find an ideal location to mount a boost gauge when I thought of a heads-up-display unit I saw before...

This was mounted in an Audi, so it would probably work in a Volvo, right?

Anyone have any experiences with HUD or a better location for a gauge?
