rear shocks 850 1995

850 wagon - loud thump\clank from rear (right side) of car when driving over any type of bump in the road. Could it be the rear shock? It only has 75,000 miles. Has anyone had their shocks replaced? If so, how many miles on your vehicle at the time of replacement? Is this a dealer "fix?"
