Timing Belt Interval AWD T5 is 120k? S80

Timing belt kit changed by dealer (new purchase, used car) at 106k.

Manual says AWD changed at 120k, vs 105k for na. I have no problem with them having changed it early, was is neccesary? How come AWD gets away with 120.
