CPU cover removal 850 1995

Anyone know how to get that CPU cover off? I unlatched and slid the CPU out and bent back the 4 tabs on the edges but that damn silver latch keeps getting in the way. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to remove all those screws on the bottom as well? As always, thanks for the help.
