Must See: Volvo AWD Service Bulletin.

I do not have an AWD Volvo, but I do get the Service Bulletins. It looks like a must read for all you AWD people. Go to your dealer and ask for a copy. It is too long for me to reproduce here.

This one is Titled:

850 1997/S70/V70/V70 XC 1998-2000/V70 XC 2001-1997-

Section 4, Group 46, No. 0005, Year 01, Month 01

AWD Wheels/Tires, Information and Function Test.

It is 8 pages long. On page 5 is a simple description of how to check your viscous coupling with only a jack and a torque wrench.
