My car is creeping up on the big "six-oh" and I'm planning on doing some maintenance on it.
This is what I'm planning on doing myself:
Plugs
Wires
Cap
Rotor
Brake Bleed / check pads
Fuel Filter
Air filter (if needed)
ECU filter
Oil & filter
Replace thermostat
This is what I'm going to have the dealer do:
Aux drive belt (A/C etc...)
Timing belt
I've already flushed & filled the coolant (at 50K), and flushed & filled the tranny (also at 50K).
I'm thinking about flushing & filling the power steering, but am unsure what the proper procedure is. Anyone have the procedure handy?
If I do it, I'll probably buy a couple of the in-line filters from IPD and put one on the steering and one on the transmission. Is this a wise decision?
Am I missing anything like "recalibrate computer" or do I have maintenance overkill here?
Thanks in advance,
Kyle
