Well, Folks I'm ordering an upgrade from PES today! WHY? I'll tell you why!

Last night I went to a friends school concert, this was her last one and she was doing a solo from Vivaldi. On the way there I parked far from the rest of the giant SUV's and other cars, just as I come to a stop this little Honda Civic Hatch back pull next to me revs his engine a few times and shuts it off and runs in. I didn't think anything of it, I got my cam quarter out and headed in for the concert. After the concert me my wife and a few other people headed to Carls O' Kelly for some Mexican chow. Just as we leave the parking lot I get stuck at the track waiting for this train, then low and behold the little Honda is behind me. What luck uh, so I get up to speed around 55mph then about a minute later the road opens up to two lanes, we both hit the stop light. From there we both accelerate, I hear him start to lay into his throttle, I respond with some too before I know it we both have WOT, I can see him right next to me not moving but yet I see his car jumping every time his shifts his stick. I was

not paying much attention to the speed, but we stuck with him until he started to pull a little on me :( It must of been the dead spot around 53-60mph for my car, not sure but after 60 I could of pulled back into my power band again, but decided to lay off the gas and call it quits before I get a ticket or wreck! Not to mention my wife telling me to slow down! By then it was time to enter the highway ramp, he pulled in front of me and headed up the ramp slowly and only going 55mph in a 60mph on the highway, I guess he wanted me too floor it so we could race on the highway. Well I didn't, I just headed to Carls O' Kelly. When we got there we mentioned the Honda and how he raced us, come to find out this guy was in my friends school band and they heard him racing someone, not knowing it was us :). She said, he was always talking about his Civic and how he added free flow exhaust and a TURBO! I said, TURBO? I don't know if I would believe that, I would of guessed he should of smoked me with a turbo! First, my car weight in at

a porkey 2980lbs, added my big A** and that's 3190lbs plus my wife she skinny but tall! 130ish? that should make my car around 3320lbs Vs a 2300lbs car with a stick and one person weighing in at 140-150lbs. And possibly having a turbo installed! But I did know that sucker was loud! I just hate to be beaten by some punk in a crap out Honda with huge dints. From what I hear about ECU upgrade I would of ate it from dinner that night If I would of had it, 14.7psi Vs my wimpy 8.3psi now:( So I guess it take me getting beat to finally throw some bucks down for a ECU! Before for this I was winning every skirmish. Guess everyone losses once :) Who knows maybe from a stand still with just me in the car I could of taken him if we raced for longer maybe up too 130, that's if his car goes that fast! Next time my car will not be as slow!
