850 front suspension 850

hi all - doing some work on a new to me '94 850 turbo wagon, 195k km - after disassembling the front right strut which was causing some dreadful noises going over bumps i discovered a completely disintegrated bushing - i got my hands on some new struts, bushings and bump stops but put off buying the strut mount until i could inspect it - physically it looks okay with some minor surface corrosion and movement appears to be smooth but my concern is where the inner bushing/bearing meets the metal - when the strut assembly is reassembled with the old mount there is still a bit (1/32") of play when the mount is moved side to side ... so here's my question, should i just stump up for the new strut mount ($90) or is this amount of play reasonable? thanks in advance
