We are volvo owners of a 97 960. We have just loved the car. We now would like to get an awd. We have narrowed our choices down to the 2001xc, the Acura MDX. We have heard mixed reviews on the 2001 xc.We can't seem to get one to test drive.Is it really solid in handling?(Our 960 back swings out a bit however we are able to compensate for that.) They're all on order. We drive to the mountains for skiing and sometimes through snow storms(however the highways were not yet closed). Lots of shuttling around in town.The 2001 xc is not as high as the Acura mdx. Would appreciate some feed back.
