Groaning sound when i turn the steering wheel 850 1996

In trying to diagnose noises whilst turning front wheels from side to side slowly at idle i noticed:

- Stirring sound from power steering reservoir. This is probably normal.
- Groaning sounds from under car.

I recently had the front shocks, shock mounts and springs changed and the mechanic was pretty sure those do not have to do with anything.

I did the same test whilst turning slowly in a parking lot and the groaning sounds still occur.
