Trailer Hitch / Towing 850

So a 13ft Boston Whaler may be in my immediate future. I'm happy to modify my car to tow it, not so thrilled at the prospect of giving up my parking spot to a hole in the water that money goes into.

I'm not very concerned about my manual transmission 850's ability to tow a 300lb boat, ~120lb Evinrude and trailer. I will however be needing a trailer hitch.

All of the hitches I have seen so far have 1 1/4" receivers. Rock auto has a Curt Mfg. Class Two hitch with a 1 1/4" receiver for only $119.99. A fellow down the street bought his 855 with a 2" receiver hitch. Anyone know where to find such a thing? And wiring, what's the best route? Dealer, U-haul, Harbor Freight?
