I've got a '95 850 turbo that has a non-working blower motor. I understand that the resistors for these sometimes go bad.
I've checked the fuses and the relays. The lights on the control unit flash, but the motor isn't blowing. I'm getting a resistor code and a couple of solenoid codes too. I verified that I have power to the blower motor and it came on when I grounded the negative terminal on the motor.
Is there a way to test the resister to verify that is defective? I hate to put a new $120 part in the car if it is something else.
Thanks.
