What I should look for before buying V70-XC70 2000

Hello all, I have been a 240 Owner since the mid 80's. Looking to buy a xc70 2000 w 120,000 miles.. It has been serviced about 20 times according to carfax. Carfax shows no accidents but another database did show a crash. Mechanic said that the timing belt has another 20 thousan miles to go. Mechanic did not know anything about the halidex needing to be drilled out and flushed. Any imput would be appreciated. Looks clean and is $2,750. Thanks Dave.
