So when people get in my 2001 S40, often they sniff and say "You know your car kinda smells like crayons."
Do you guys get this? Do other Volvos smell like crayons?
Background:
My car has never been garaged, in Texas, so it has been exposed to great heat for a decade. It has cloth upholstery.
But, I also keep my car meticulously clean. I shampoo the upholstery about once a year. I keep the carpet vacuumed. I, myself, regularly bathe. And I have never had any crayons in my car.
I know that my old VWs had a particular "VW" smell. Does Volvo have a "Volvo" smell?
