road holding kit S40-V40 2000

For better cornering and for better handling, I just ordered Volvo's original road holding kit this week which takes around 20-30 days for shipping from Sweden. Is it a good idea or do we have better alternatives for a feeling of sport driving without loosing too much comfort?
