I have a 1993 850 GLT that has a clunk I can't seem to locate where it is originating. Seems like it is getting a little louder but not 100% on that. Here is a little history to possibly help in my diagnosis. A few months ago the clunk noise I hear wasn't apparent. I decided to change front brake pads, rotors and drivers side caliper along with new end links. Also replaced passenger side CV axle. Everything went fine and then couple weeks ago I began hearing a light clunk when changing direction only. For example I'm driving any speed in a straight line and I move the steering wheel for lane change or maybe to dodge a pot hole. I can move the steering wheel left, right, left right and I get a clunk with each movement. I don't hear it while breaking or straight line. On a rough, bumpy road it's hard for me to tell if there are any clunks. The clunks sounds like a golf ball in a tube. I jacked up front end, removed right front tire and everything I could see or wiggle seemed ok. Obviously I'm missing something. I'd like to fix it but don't know what it is. Any help on what and how to check would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
