1995 850 turbo sedan - To continue driving it with a leaky rear main seal or not? 850 --- UPDATE 850

About 3 months ago, I had posted a message for the sick RMS of our 1995 850 turbo sedan. Your responses were indeed extremely helpful. The tentative course of action we selected was to first change the oil and at that time use one quart of a stop-a-leak in the RMS fluid (which along with a lot of 'prayers' could help(?)); then, gather data every ~200 miles over the next few thousand miles, with another oil change after about 2K miles (being an experimentalist in research seems to be helpful).

At this point, after about 4k miles since last January, the oil loss through the RMS has been reduced rather significantly, but it has not been eliminated. Otherwise, our car keeps up with the just about any cars (e.g., Porsches in particular) extremely well!

Thanks a million again for your tremendous help. Another update will be coming up at a later time.
