Oil in the coolant 850

When coolant and oil mix it's usually a real bad sign. Isn't it? Usually a head gasket is blown and the mixture begins. Only problem is my '95 850T is running perfectly. If I have a bad head gasket, wouldn't the engine run rough from low compression? There is no coolant in the oil, or none that I can see.

One morning after about five 15-degree days, the frothy brown residue was noticeable in the coolant reserivor. It's not much, maybe 1 tablespoon. The only other place I can think that these liquids would mix is in the radiator.

I replaced the original 4 years ago with a Nissin from IPD. Was my purchase a huge mistake? Isn't a radiator supposed to last longer than 4 years?

Has anyone else had this problem?
