Suggestions to reduce roof rack "Howling" noise?

My 850 Wagon came with the euro rails and cross bars. It sounds like a wind tunnel at higher speeds so I find myself closing the sun shad and turning up the radio. Short of removing the rack, are there any mods I can make to reduce the howling noise?
