V70 XC, 2001 with 158K. HU-613 Radio has hissing- squeal - noise in upper treble ranges. Happens in Am/Fm/Cassette and CD and continues even when radio is off. Only stops when car is turned off and then started again when radio is off. Non-automotive radio/TV tech says likely that the amplifier is going bad. Does this car have amp separate from radio in dash. If so, where is it located. Found used HU-613 at Autosports Unlimited used parts in MI.
