Buying S80; What to look for S80 1999

I'm considering buying a 99 S80 V-6 with approx. 66,000 miles. What should I be looking for? This being the first year of the new model, have there been any trouble spots? Should I look for a 2000 model or later? Thanks for the input? Does the V-6 require premium fuel? Gas mileage to be expected? Thanks.
