timing belt and water leak S60 2006

I have always relied on you to give me straight answers to my volvo questions. I finally gave up my 1993 850 GLT after spending way more in repairs than I did on the car itself, but I loved it. I am on my sixth volvo, a 2006 S60 T5, with fabric upholstery instead of leather. This car doesn't have a sunroof, which all my others did, and I have finally gotten over the sunroof, but I really like the leather much better. I have noticed a water mark on the outside of the rear passenger seat that seems to reappear no matter how often I clean the upholstery. It seems to be what I would expect to see if there was a leak in that area, but I've never found a leak and the seat never feels wet. Any ideas on what might be causing this mark?

Also, what is the interval for changing the timing belt on this car? I waited too long on my 1993 850 and thus had to replace the top of the engine, too! I certainly don't want to repeat that mistake, but I don't want to replace it sooner than necessary, either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
