Tire rotation and vibration in steering wheel and chassis S60 2001

After a lot of attempts with new tires (Michelin Primacy HP)

Eventually the 4 wheels have been balanced with a Hunter GSP 9700 machine, which also measures the radial forces by a cone pressed to the rotating wheel. It turned out that one tire was not okay. After change and rebalancing, the car is silent again.

Had the same problem 4 years ago with Conti Sportcontac-2!

So if you ever experience problems with a vibrating steering wheel or chassis which can't be solved with a standard balancing machine, go to shop which has such a Hunter GSP 9700 or similar.
