1998 S70 ABS Tracks lights ON AFTER Shock Repair S70 1998

Hi All,

First off, I've searched in this site for my kind of problem and could not find one.

Here is my problem: My ABS, Tracks lights came on after working on the passenger side shock absorber (replacing the spring seat). I had unplugged the ABS sensor off the hub prior to the work, and plugged it back after the work.

My question is: I know the only thing I did was unplugging and plugging the sensor. Why would the ABS/Tracs light come on? Does the simple act of removing the ABS sensor make the ABS module fail?

Thanks,
-Kef
