Having a major problem with my 94' 850 Turbo wagon. Iam on my second set of rotors in 5 months. I replaced them back in June with an aftermarket set and they lasted a couple of days til the shaking in the front happens when to press down on the brake peddle. I had them turned down a few times until my mechanic said that this is as far as you can go with this set. So, we decided on new rotors, pads and ball joints for the front end. I bought them from a Volvo dealership so I would have atleast OEM parts to start fresh with. Needless to say, $360.00 later I got the parts and installed them with the help of my mechanic friend. Took a test drive, brought it up to 40mph and applied the brakes. They were great. Drove home and started to feel the shaking in the front end when braking. This car is sucking my financial savings,ie.Volvo for life.
Anyway, if someone has any info on similar problems or advice I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I cannot trust the safety of this car with my children in it and will get rid of it and buy a Toyota or something.
Thanks in advance for feeling my pain.
