Drivers door lock C70 2001

Has anyone had this problem and if so, what did you do to repair it?

The driver's side door lock on my '01 C70 will not go up or down with either the keyless remote or the switch on the inside door panel. The only way that the drivers door will lock is by use of the key in the door handle.

I am guessing that there is a door lock mechanism inside the door panel that needs to be replaced. Has anyone done this job and what is the part number?

How difficult is it to remove and replace this part? I know there are instructions on Bay 13 that show how to remove the inside door panel, but nothing that shows where this part is located and how to remove and replace it.
