what size wipers? V70-XC70 1998

I'm in 'eventual shopping' mode for a new set of wiper blades right now.

I know there is lots of choice out there for brands/styles/etc, and I'd appreciate recommendations (as I'm not terribly happy with what I've got on there right now), but I'm mostly concerned with the size.

The ones that I have on there right now are (I think) 19" or maybe 20", but they seem to not sweep very much of the windshield.

Does any wear larger blades than this?

I expect that going up 1" would afford me a half inch on either end, right?

I guess what I'm saying is, I want to get bigger ones to clear more of the windshield, but I don't want to adversely affect wiping performance or put too much strain on the wiper motor/wiper arm assemblies.

Any advice is welcomed.
