A Public Service Announcement reminder to check your tire pressures. Should done often, but if you don't, do it now!

I try to get out there and do it at least once a month or before every long trip. Spare tires get checked less often. Consequently I have found more spare tires holding 20psi or less than I care to admit. Those get pumped up to the maximum allowed by the tire's sidewall. I keep all four corners at 38 or 40 psi. I have the view that it is far better for a tire to be marginally over-inflated than to be evan a little under-inflated.
