How to clean O2 sensors!!!!

This quick and dirty method works for all oxygen sensors.

1. Remove the sensor
2. Place the sensor in some kind of holder with the tip pointing upwards.
3. Take a propane torch and heat the ceramic portion of the sensor until it is nice and hot.
4. Take a canister like brake cleaner or throttle body cleaner, place your self upwind and spray the hot sensor with this cleaner. Repeat this procedure ~ times. I have also used a small fan to fan away the fumes that come off when I spray the hot sensor with the cleaner.
5. Let the sensor cool off and apply some anti size compound to the treads and install. Avoid touching the tip with grease fingers.
