I'm going through a series of problems requiring quite a few parts & just don't have the couple hundred for a new unit at this time, dealing with the nit pick stuff. It's for a 98 V70XC & this problem didn't crop up until after the engine swap. Can't tell yet exactly where the crack/leak is at this time. May be a hair line crack about 3/4 of the way up & leaks down leaving the whole tank wet with coolant. Just need something that holds pressure for a temporary repair. A new one will be ordered as funds allow. Just completed a major procedure & going through the testing stage preparing it for road duty ( has already completed 650 miles). Like I said, this is a temporary repair.
Just did an engine swap & it's been constant drain taking care of numerous small issues that need attention. At least the new engine was been very trouble free.
The XC has an oil cooler on the passenger side & trans cooler on the drivers side. A cooler on each tank.None available at my normal sources. I believe turbo V70's use the same radiator.
