A/C blower fan S70

My blower fan just quit working. Initially I got the flashing yellow/green a/c light but only on two occasions. No longer blinks. Would not come on in auto or manual mode. Compresser comes on and you get cold with flow through at hiway speeds. Book said codes stored in "center console". No code on OBD. Fan was making minimal noise for a couple of weeks before it quit. I have it out and it is a little tight. Have not put 12v to it yet to test it. At the price for this baby I want to be carefull. Any ideas? Thanks, Chuck

200K on s70. 740 has 400k and its fan is just starting to talk to me.
