Still Having Problems With Control Panel Warning Lights S70 1999

I took the car last Wednesday to the garage and they replaced the sensor that controls the speedometer and odometer and reset the check engine light and everything was fine....until it rained again and then all of the other lights came back on and off again, and I lost my speedometer and odometer. It took 2 more days of dry weather and then they went off again..but it is supposed to rain again tonight so I am sure they will go back on again and the speedometer and odometer off again. This is driving me NUTS! The warning lots are a pain, but not having a speedometer is just to risky since I have a long commute every day. In light of what has happened does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!
