I'm back with an upgrade. I've parted ways with my worn 940 wagon (it suffered from neglect and lack of maintenance), and purchased a finely maintained and loved 850 turbo wagon. The maintenance record is near an inch thick. Still, it needs more maintenance.

Big things that have already been replaced: a/c compressor, a/c evaporator, alternator, turbo, radiator and others.

Things I've already tackled: timing belt, idlers, water pump, and the odometer gears. The webpages devoted to maintenance of these items has been so very helpful.

Next up will be the PCV maintenance (cleaning the PTC as recommended has made a great difference already). There are mild suspension rattles to tackle, too.

I'm sure I'll have questions soon enough.
