’95 850 non-turbo with about 96,200 miles
I’ve been messing with a rough idle over the last 4,000-5,000 miles or so. It came on gradually, so I can’t really say when I first got annoyed with it. It’s an 'even' miss, like one cylinder is not firing as strongly as the rest.
Here’s what’s been done BEFORE it all started, mostly general maintenance
New fuel filter, air filter, Bougicord wires, Volvo plugs Volvo cap and rotor, all about 11,000 miles ago
SINCE the problem started,:
Checked O2 function, replaced injector seals, replaced most of the vacuum lines, no change. Never any codes on A2 or A6. Plugs look normal and even.
Today: New NGK plugs. Checked O2 function again, checked entire ignition system. Compression while not ideal is OK at 180, 175, 175 190, 170. Vacuum is a very steady 19.5” at idle, no fluctuation, responds normally with throttle opening and closing. Still no codes.
Mileage is fine, power is OK, it’s just this annoying idle that feels like one cylinder is not doing it’s job. Anyone have any ideas?
