Adding keyless entry and central lock button. help/advice needed. 850 1995

i have a 1995 850 wagon that does not have keyless entry or the central lock button on the dashboard.

i have collected all the missing parts (i think...)

1)i have the central lock relay unit
2)the keyless entry module
3)the keyfob (the FCC numbers match)
4)and the central lock button/switch for the dash.

i have the keyless entry module installed on the green plug to the right on the glovebox, the keyfob and module have matching FCC ID's, i found the empty plug for the central lock switch behind a blank space next to the "tracs" and rear window "defroster" and plugged it in there.

(it seems that the volvo option plugs have a set of specific tabs/keys that wont allow the wrong plug to be installed on any particular switch, am i correct?)

now i need to find where this relay is supposed to go...
i searched the archives here and in a few threads i read that i should find the plug for the relay behind the heat/AC controls or behind the glovebox. when i look back there and/or bend my neck under the dash with a flashlight i cant see any place for the relay. my chilton book deosn't know either and the wiring diagram is a bit like chinese arithmatic.

does anyone have a better description/writeup of how to do this or maybe even a pic? im a visual learner...

thanks a bunch!
