Still clanking V70-XC70 2000

I looked under the car at the heat sheild. I did find it was a bit loose and possibly bent from ice or slush. I tightened and flattened itback. But the sound still is there. But one thing i did learn was that the heat sheild is a soft thin metal, so I don't think that the sound I heard was the sheild. I did however hit the cat. convereter while I was under there with a ratchet and the sound was very similar to what I am hearing. Is there something there tha trings a bell to what the sound could be? I do beleive it is a driveshaft problem, could it be hitting the convereter. If so is there a fix (hopefully cheap)At higher speeds the frequency is high enough that you almost don't here it. But as you slow and come to a stop it gets slower and louder. So all that said, I still need help.

Thank you,
Ken
