Whistling when cold 850

My 95 855 'whistles' when it is cold and under accelleration. After the car completely warms up the sound goes away. It changes pitch with engine speed, but it will sometimes go thru two or more upcycles of whistle before each shift. Automatic tranny. Any ideas?
