(repeat post from Monday)
A/C was freezing up at firewall. The only a/c service in last 3 years was a "recharge" by a local "filling station." I put gauge on low side and it seemed high (lower 40's). It would drop only to about 25-26 after more than 20 min.(never cycling off) at around 85 degrees.
I swapped the pressostat from a known good one (my 850) with same results. I assume it was overcharged? If so, is there a way to correct this without evacuation/recharge? Will "venting" a few seconds work?
