850 Radiator replacement 850

94' 855 Turbo 147k

I have read through the archives on replacing the radiator on the 850 series, and I'm trying to decide if I should tackle it myself or save it for the pros. I'm new to the 850, but have worked on my 242ti for years and currently live in the city so I dont have much room to work on the car.

I have a quote from a Seattle area shop for $593 for parts & labor, including new o rings on the oil and transmission lines and a OEM radiator. I could probably pick up the parts online for less than $300 total, work on it at a friends house, and knock it out on a saturday. Bay 13 makes the project look fairly straightforward but I might as well check on here to see what people might have to say about the job. Currently the oil line connections to the radiator leak, so I would need to replace the clips\o rings as well.I figure at the same time a transmission flush would be a good idea since its been about 30k. The same shop quoted $150 for a full flush including filter replacement.

Thank you for any tips or suggestions.
