An unanswered Heater Core question! 850

I'm really sorry for posting another heater core question, really! I've gotten the core out and I'm wondering about the o-rings. All the write-ups I've looked at do not answer the question.
I have found out that if I'm to replace the o-rings on the heater core side and the firewall side of the pipes I'd need another ring kit. But the instructions and the write ups neglect (that I can tell) to say what to do on the heater core side of the pipes. Just one rubber o-ring? Now it has just one, but apparently there has been confusion with Volvo and Eeuropars and FCP in selling the ring kits. Anyone that knows, please tell me!
And that core was WAY easier than I was expecting thanks to you guys...love this site...love my Volvo.
