My front washer fluid motor works, but barely squirts onto the windshield. I changed the little black plastic one way valve under the hood and that made no difference. This is a Texas car and does not have washer wiper systems on the headlights.
Today I noticed that when the pump is operated, fluid weakly comes out onto the windshield. Most of the fluid comes out of one of the 2 small diameter black tubes that are clipped together underneath the hood above the windshield fluid tank(near the black computer box). If you open the hood and look left on the track where the hoods slots at the front of the car, there they are.
When I plugged the little tube, the fluid washer squirted and worked great-nice and powerful. What is that tube for, why was fluid squirting out of iit and not the windshield, and what is the fix?
I would appreciate if someone could tell me what is going on, and what the fix might be before I take the thing apart?
Is it a parts problem , a clog?
Thanks!
