850 collision/comprehensive insurance worth paying? 850 1996

Having owned a 96 850 for 2 years now and having driven it to 140K and wanting to own it until its very practical end I am wondering if it is worth keeping the collision/comprehensive insurance on it - at what insurance premium price point is it worth paying for?

According to KBB the private party value for my car is 5K - i doubt anyone will pay more than 4K for it though. On top of that I have a 1K deductible. I've heard if i am paying more than 10% of the value of the car in collision+comprehensive then it is not 'worth' paying.

I am pretty sure I will dump the collision premium - that will save me 29% of my yearly/6 month premium.

What I would like to know is should i drop my comprehensive as well? That would save me an additional 13%.

Can a volvo850 be stolen? I live/drive/park in low risk areas in suburbs of Atlanta.

My insurance company does not do fixed-amount/anti-devaluation insurance.

Thanks for you opinions - i figure i'll need the money for maintenance anyways.
