'97 Air Pump 850

Greetings,
Well, My car failed the emissions inspection. I have a bad air pump. I have removed the air pump, which was full of water, but have not replaced it yet. Does anyone know if the air pump from a '95 volvo 850 can be made to work? I have a '95 with a blown engine, but it had no OBD codes, so I think that pump is good. Anyway, I am just trying to save a bit of cash. If the '95 pump does not work, does anyone want to buy a '95 air pump?
