I finally received a letter in the mail from Volvo regarding the ETM recall. I scheduled the update, along with purchasing a new key with my local Volvo dealer.

What ever they did gave me a huge power boost. Before the work was done, my car seemed to be running a little flat, slower than some other XC70's that I have driven. Now the car has smooth acceleration, and lots of it!

If you haven't received your ETM recall letter, give your Volvo dealer a call.

I was told that they inspect ETM clean if necessary and re-program with the latest software.
