Bad, bad gas mileage 850 1994

Help! My gas mileage has dropped from 26 to 12.

The car started out by loping at an idle and was also spitting oil out the oil cap so I thought it was time to clean everything up. At this point in time the gas mileage was at 26.

1. I removed and cleaned the intake manifold and cleaned out the PCV oil trap and replaced all the hoses except the hard plastic one that goes to the flame trap. Replaced the intake gasket, throttle body gasket, cleaned out the EGR valve hole and replaced the EGR valve. Replaced the entire Flame trap assembly. Replaced the accordion tube to the air box and the MAF sensor. Then blew carb cleaner all over it looking for vacuum leaks and sealed them up. The only thing I didn’t replace were the seals on the fuel injectors but I did spray them with carb cleaner looking for leaks on the intake side and there is no fuel leaking from the fuel rail side so I assume they are not leaking.

2. Last year I replaced the entire exhaust with a carbon steel aftermarket system and installed a new oxygen sensor, Replace the timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, plugs, wires, rotor and fuel filter.

After replacing everything in #1 I’m getting three codes, the sulfur smell and going thru lots of gas. Codes are: 113 Not sure what this is, 221 Long term fuel trim part load at upper limit (lean) 232 Long term fuel trim at idle, too low or high.

What am I missing? What didn’t get hooked up right?
