Brake rotor wear XC90 2004

I've got a 2004 xc90 here with only 45k miles on it , and the brake rotors are hammered on that thing. It would not suprize me if all four needed replacing at the next brake job. Is this normal on these things, or is the owner driving with his foot resting on the brake?
