Well - I have replaced the blower motor with a new Bosch unit, new Volvo resistor, a used ebay climate ecu (it did function for brief time with a used blower motor - but the motor kept getting slower and slower - then quit) and I still have no blower function. Getting the 418 code - no power to power stage. I cleaned the little fans above door grab handles - as they I had codes for that - cleared codes and starter car no ecu blinking and no blower function! The only thing I have not swapped out is the small relay next to the resistor. I have a spare relay and am going to try it - I have about 475 invested in a non working blower motor - what the heck is going on here? I will double check the blower fuse, but I know the climate ecu has power - even my indy garage has figured this out yet! My previous post gives even more details - and to boot my battery was dead today - lucky I had a spare.
